This Monday, ZTE not only launched the Axon 40 Pro with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The great star of the event was another smartphone called ZTE Axon 40 Ultra, which we will tell you all about in this article.
The new ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is a true top of the range. It comes with a curved panel on the sides and no less than three 64 MP rear cameras on the back. It is the world’s first smartphone that combines two unique features.
ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is the first to combine Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and under-display camera
Like any top of the range worth its salt in 2022, the Axon 40 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. With this processor, it is the first to have a front camera under the screen.
It is a 6.81-inch curved AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The front camera integrated into the screen is 16 MP, and ZTE promises first-class selfies at the level of other tops. We will see in practice.
On the back we find a 64 MP main camera, with Sony IMX787 sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS). This is accompanied by a 64 MP ultra wide angle with OIS and a 64 MP periscope telephoto sensor.
The terminal has a 5000 mAh battery with 80 W charging. However, it does not have wireless charging. Also notable is the presence of Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC and stereo speakers.
