Qualcomm has just announced its new top-of-the-line processor for mid-range smartphones.
The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 sees several improvements and will hit the market in at least two new smartphones from Xiaomi and Realme later this month.

Unsurprisingly, today Qualcomm officially unveiled its new premium processor for mid-range smartphones. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is based on TSMC’s 4nm process and includes a Cortex X2 core clocked at 2.91GHz, three Cortex A710 cores clocked at 2.49GHz, and four Cortex A510 cores clocked at 1 .80Ghz.
According to Qualcomm, the CPU configuration provides a 50% performance increase over the previous chip. The new chip also comes equipped with support for 4G and 5G communications, Bluetooth 5.3, and even Wi-Fi 6.
It is also prepared to handle Quad HD + screen resolutions, 120 Hz refresh rates and HDR10 + and Dolby Vision technology. Better: It also supports 200-megapixel sensors and dual-camera HDR video recording simultaneously.
In the official presentation of the new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, Qualcomm also confirmed that the chip will hit the market next week. All because it will be inside the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Turbo, as well as the Realme GT Neo 5 SE.
