Not sure what to do with your NFT? Facebook and Instagram have an idea

Meta announced today that it will allow users Post your NFTs on Instagram and Facebook.

Users can connect their wallets like Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet and Dapper Wallet to post digital collectibles minted in Ethereum, Polygon and Flow.

“As we continue to release digital collectibles on Facebook and Instagram, we’ve started giving people the ability to post digital collectibles they own on Facebook and Instagram. This will allow people to connect their digital wallets once to either app to share their digital collectibles across both.”says the company on your blog.

The company has been experimenting with NFT on its two platforms since May. Although, it is not clear that the NFT publishing function is available in all markets.

While other platforms like Twitter and Reddit have focused on NFT-based avatars, Meta is trying to reach a wider audience by sharing its digital collectibles through posts.

In May, Instagram boss Adam Mosseri said that the company is exploring selling digital collectibles so creators can have another avenue to make money. The company also expressed a desire to create a marketplace for digital art that could be used to purchase items in the metaverse.
