Huawei Reveals Some Specifications And Images Of Nova 8i On Its Official Website

Huawei will launch the new smartphone Nova 8i on July 7 in Malaysia. The phone page is now live on the Huawei Malaysia website through which its design and main specifications have been confirmed. There are rumors that the Nova 8i will arrive with a Snapdragon chip from Qualcomm.

The Nova 8i measures 161.85 x 74.7 x 8.58mm and weighs 190 grams. The phone has 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD Display with a tablet-shaped cutout on the top left corner of it, which contains a 16-megapixel primary camera and an unknown secondary sensor. The device promises a screen-to-body ratio of 94.7%.

The round-shaped camera module on the back of the phone has a 64-megapixel main camera with an f/1.9 aperture and a 1/7-inch sensor size. It’s assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120-degree field of view, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The camera module is similar to the Huawei Mate 30 Pro.

The Nova 8i must be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 along with a 4,300 mAh Battery which supports Huawei’s 66W SuperCharge fast charging technology. The company claims that it only takes 38 minutes to fully charge the smartphone. The Huawei nova 8i comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

The Huawei nova 8i will arrive with the EMUI 11 based on Android 10. This device will likely receive an upgrade to HarmonyOS. It offers other features such as a side-mounted fingerprint reader, dual 4G VoLTE, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB-C.

At the moment, there is no information on the prices of Nova 8i. It will be available in three colors Moonlight Silver, Interstellar Blue, and Starry Black. Its official release date should be almost upon us, we will unveil more information as soon as it is released.
