We are about a month away from Apple’s main announcement in 2022. It will be in early September that the American giant will reveal the new line of iPhone 14 smartphones and expectations are quite high regarding its news.
There are several improvements that Apple is preparing for the new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, from a new screen to a new camera. However, everything indicates that we will not have news in the storage space of these devices.
The iPhone 14 Pro will continue to offer 128 GB of base storage
Analyst Jeff Pu predicts in his recent report that Apple will not change the storage options of the iPhone 14 Pro. This means that the most expensive models will still start at 128GB.
This is news because other previously published reports predicted that Apple would make the jump to 256GB. This should be the storage base of the new iPhone 14 Pro, but it seems that the company has changed plans.
By the way, Jeff Pu himself previously predicted that Apple’s new best smartphones would start with 256 GB. For reasons that he does not clarify, Pu was forced to revise his predictions for these devices.
In fact, the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will offer four internal storage options: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. In fact, these are the same options that Apple currently makes available for the iPhone 13 Pro.
Despite this news, the forecasts for the increase in the prices of these devices do not change. Just this week, renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted a 15% increase in the entire Pro offering of new Apple smartphones.
This means that the iPhone 14 Pro will be able to start at €1,259 instead of the usual €1,179. This implies that the price of the iPhone 14 Pro Max will also rise to €1,399.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, but Apple is expected to reveal the new iPhone 14 on September 6. If this is true, it takes just over three weeks to clarify all the doubts that persist about these smartphones.
