A new beta version has been released for the popular messenger Whatsapp, which has version number 2.24.7.19 and adds new functions to the messenger. WABetaInfo also reports this.
Management of the new favorites list
Already in the Whatsapp beta for Android with build number 2.24.7.18, the developer had integrated a favorites function for the “Calls” section into the messenger to facilitate the process of prioritizing and accessing important contacts and groups directly from the tab to improve – a phone call to your most important contacts is now just a tap away.

In the latest beta update, Whatsapp expands this function even further and adds an administration function to the favorites function. In the future, users will be able to select, organize and remove their favorite contacts and groups directly in the app settings – making it much easier. In addition, favorites can be managed completely without opening the “Calls” tab.
According to the WABetaInfo website, the favorites management function is under development and will be made available in a future update of the app.
