And lo and behold, the time has come to meet the best of the best in the premium and mid-range segments for the month of June. We reveal everything to you immediately.
Black Shark 5 Pro considered the best premium smartphone in June 2022
Leading the June table is the Black Shark 5 Pro, which maintains the leadership achieved in May. The model that is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage, obtained a score of 1,040,111 points, thanks to its SSD+UFS 3.1 storage solution, which manages to be quite fast, ensuring better performance compared to other terminals.
Another fact that stands out in the June ranking is that eight of the ten positions are occupied by terminals equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. Although the processor has registered some problems related to the increase in temperature, it seems that the cooling systems integrated by smartphone manufacturers are giving good results and proof of this is the new AnTuTu June table.
Qualcomm’s dominance is only broken by Vivo X80 and OPPO Find X5 Pro, which occupy the sixth and seventh position, respectively, both with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 processor, as well as 256 GB of internal storage capacity. Interestingly, the Vivo model with 8 GB of RAM is better positioned than OPPO’s Find X5 Pro which has 12 GB of RAM.
MediaTek with almost total dominance in the best mid-range smartphones of June
And if Qualcomm stands out in the premium segment, MediaTek almost completely dominates the mid-range ranking. The manufacturer takes nine of the top ten spots with the Dimensity 8100, Dimensity 8100 Max, and Dimensity 8000 Max processors.
Only in tenth position is a Qualcomm model; more specifically the Vivo S15 that has the Snapdragon 870 chip at the controls paired with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
As for the models, the winner of the category is the OPPO Reno8 Pro+ 5G, which has the Dimensity 8100 Max chip, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage and obtained a score of 822,915 points on the AnTuTu platform.
In the second and third position are the Redmi K50 and Redmi Note 11T Pro+ models, both equipped with the Dimensity 8100 chip and 512 GB of internal storage. They differ in terms of RAM capacity, since the K50 has 12 GB while the Note 11T Pro + stays at 8 GB.
