The Motorola Razr 2022 was launched yesterday in the Chinese market and apparently won over users in that region.
According to data released by the brand, the new folding smartphone sold 10,000 units in just five minutes.

As soon as pre-orders opened, the new Motorola Razr 2022 proved to be a best seller. After the official presentation, the model sold 10,000 units in just five minutes.
Motorola was quick to publicize the success of its new folding smartphone and shared the first sales figures for the terminal with the market.
It should be remembered that the Chinese brand presented three new smartphones yesterday, including the Razr 2022, which arrives to compete directly with the also new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4.
The success of the Motorola model has also contributed to its price of 5,999 yuan (about 860 euros) in the Chinese market, since rival Samsung has a higher cost of 8,499 yuan (about 1,220 euros).
Pre-reservations will remain open until August 16. It will be on this date when the Motorola folding arrives on the shelves of Chinese stores.
According to rumors, the Razr 2022 will also be available in the global market, however there is no definite date for this arrival yet.
The arguments of the Motorola Razr 2022 that conquered Chinese users
Motorola’s new foldable comes with good arguments to win over fans of foldable smartphones. It is equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which in turn is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
Optically, it features a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor providing optical image stabilization and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with the ability to capture macro images. On the front it has a 32 megapixel camera.
As for the screens, the main one is 6.7-inch P-OLED, with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a high refresh rate of 144 Hz; the secondary screen is 2.7 inches and has a resolution of 800×573 pixels.
Otherwise, the foldable is powered by a 3,500mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
