The next Pixel 5a has been seen in some leaks so far. There were even rumors that it had been canceled and Google itself had to deny this information.
today one new rumor point to what Google’s new affordable smartphone will be released on August 26 with a price tag of $450.
In terms of specs, expect a 6.4″ screen, Snapdragon 765G chip, 6GB of RAM and a 4,650 mAh battery. Of course, there will be no wireless charging, and you can only buy Pixel 5a in black color.
The camera will be the same as found on the Pixel 5, but the Pixel 5a will have a headphone jack and an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.
These specs represent a huge improvement in battery capacity over Pixel 4a 5G and a leap in screen size as well.
Apparently, Pixel 5a will be released in just two markets, US and Japan, which would leave us with no Pixels this year in Spain.
