The Baltimore Bridge collapsed: a YouTube stream captured the moment

According to the Maryland Transportation Authority, the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapsed in the early hours of Tuesday. The cause of the collapse was the impact of a container ship against a pillar, This caused the bridge to collapse into the Patapsco River.

The entire event was captured on video as part of a live broadcast. The YouTube live stream managed by StreamTime Live is one of many iconic streaming locations such as New York Harbor, Port Huron in Michigan and Midway Airport in Chicago.

This is reported by the Associated Press several vehicles fell into the water, a claim supported by the video. Initial reports from the Baltimore Sun indicated that at least seven construction workers may have been on the bridge at the time of the impact and six people were still missing.

The ship lost power “several minutes” before hitting the bridge and an emergency call allowed nearby workers to stop more cars from crossing the bridge.
