Sony unveils ‘Project Q’, a portable streaming device for PS5

It is not a portable console, but Sony is preparing to launch a device that will allow PlayStation 5 users to stream their favorite games to a portable screen.

Sony Interactive Entertainment President and CEO Jim Ryan revealed the existence of “Project Q” on Wednesday during the company’s PlayStation Showcase.

I say that the device will allow PlayStation gamers to stream any game installed on their PS5, excluding PlayStation VR2 titles, via WiFi and the company’s Remote Play protocol.

The device has an 8-inch HD screen and all the buttons and functions of a DualSense remote. Ryan didn’t say how much the device would cost, but promised that Sony would share more information about Project Q soon.
