Samsung’s most popular smartphones suffer from a mysterious problem

The current smartphone market leader stands out above all for its mid-range and entry-level products grouped into popular lines such as the Samsung Galaxy and Samsung Galaxy M. Several of these devices are now facing a peculiar problem.

The problem is the unexpected crash (freeze) and restart (restart) of several smartphones that are part of the Samsung Galaxy A and Galaxy M ranges. This fact was reported earlier this week after the accumulation of complaints from users in recent days.

There are various Samsung smartphones showing different errors

The unexpected freezing and crashing of smartphones is always followed by a restart of mobile devices. The cause of this, according to Publication Sammobile, is not currently known, and more complaints are piling up on the Samsung forum.

In particular, this bug is affecting Samsung Galaxy M30s, Galaxy M31, Galaxy M31s, Galaxy A50, Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A51 smartphones. It should also be noted that the main area of incidence appears to be India and Southeast Asia.

However, there are other models in these more affordable Samsung ranges that experience similar errors, indicated in official forums branding and support pages. On the other hand, the occurrence seems to be limited to Asian regions and markets, especially the Indian one. It should be noted that, despite being the exception, there are reports of this same error in other global markets.

There are several of their most popular smartphones, for no apparent reason.

The pathology affecting these Android smartphones is identical considering the reports. The phone is slow to the point of completely locking up (freeze). Then after a few seconds the phone shuts down and starts again (reboot).

The affected device can boot normally or stay for several seconds or minutes on the Samsung logo, as appropriate. The latter instance seems to be the most common, as the phones are “locked” on the brand logo.

For these cases, users send the affected devices to the official service and repair channels of the South Korean manufacturer. Note, however, that at the moment there is no justification attributed to the cause of this problem.

The first reports from users who brought the affected smartphones to service centers say that the manufacturer attributed the problem to Motherboard, motherboard. The declared cost of the repairs has generally been budgeted at $ 100.

Soon, users began to attribute the problem to the processors that the brand uses in these Galaxy A and Galaxy ranges. More specifically, to the Exynos 9610 and Exynos 9611 chips that are often used in these more affordable smartphones.

Finally, Samsung has not identified the cause of the problem so far, but we believe that it is not too late. The problem mainly affects the world’s second-largest smartphone market, India, a stronghold that Samsung does not want to overlook.

So far there are no similar cases in Portugal, although the problem is not necessarily limited to the Indian nation.
