The cheapest smartphone in the Realme 9 range is the new model Realme 9i 5G. The new product arrives to replace the Realme 8i currently available in Europe (from €189). It brings general improvements in all the aspects that really matter in an Android smartphone ready for 2022.
We immediately highlight the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, a mid-range chipset, as well as the high-capacity battery and the bold design. It is ready for fifth generation mobile networks and promises to be one of the best quality/price smartphones with a price of up to €200, also in Europe.
This is the general design of the Realme 9i 5G smartphone
First of all we have the 6.6-inch diagonal screen, IPS LCD technology. Its resolution is 1080p, therefore, the Full-HD+ standard, with a discreet notch at the top of the front panel where we find your front camera for the selfies.
The phone has a conservative design, quite common in this price segment when it comes to the front panel, with rounded corners of the screen. The rear is more original, inspired, depending on the brand, by CDs.

Users who need more space can use a micro SD memory card up to 1TB for additional storage. At the same time, we also have virtual RAM expansion up to an additional 5GB via software.
We find Google’s Android 12 operating system, with the Realme UI 3.0 interface in terms of software. In addition, we have a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh and charging at 18 W, with a charger included in the box.
Finally, the new Realme 9i smartphone is currently available in India, a key market for the brand. However, like its predecessor that is available in Europe, it is expected that this model will also reach our market.
