A surprise discovery was made in a commercial complex in Montevideo. The police found about 30 bricks of suspected drugs. This happened in the early afternoon in the Malvín Alto complex, which is in the Malvín Norte neighborhood.
The bricks were hidden in a bathroom near some shops. So far, the police think the bricks might contain marijuana, but they haven’t confirmed this officially yet.
Police Investigation
The police are working at the scene. They’ve set up a perimeter to keep people away. This is near the intersection of Camino Carrasco and Hipólito Yrigoyen.
The situation is still unfolding. More details are expected to come out as the police investigation continues. For now, the area remains closed off to the public.
