Four criminals who robbed an optical store in Sayago last Monday, April 7, have been sentenced. One of them, an adult, got 90 days in jail for aggravated robbery while the investigation continues. Three minors were also sentenced for serious offenses and will spend six months on supervised release at INISA.
The robbery happened on Camino Ariel and Ignacio Rivas. The criminals didn’t use guns, but they hurt employees to get cash and merchandise.
How police caught them
Police found the criminals on the street, wearing helmets, as they left the store. A chase started, ending with two of them arrested near Adolfo Rodríguez and Capitulares, about 15 blocks away. Two motorcycles used in the robbery were found there.
The suspects include three minors and one adult. Investigators think they might be linked to pharmacy robberies, according to sources who talked to News Agency.
