The foldable smartphone market continues to gain ground in the most varied world markets and, although the throne belongs to Samsung, we have increasingly captivating competitors. Well, one of the next ones will be the folding one. OPPO find N3 to arrive in 2023.
This will be OPPO’s next book-shaped folding smartphone, very similar in concept and folding form to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and the future Galaxy Z Fold5. However, we have new details about the mobile device from the Chinese manufacturer.
OPPO Find N3 will arrive in the last months of 2023 with Qualcomm chip
The first leaks refer to an improvement of the existing formula, something that in my opinion is perfectly plausible and even expected. That being said, we do have a new processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in this phone, or at best Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2.
At the same time, information leaks are already pointing to an even bigger home screen. Apparently this interior “screen” will have a total of 8 inches diagonally. It will be an even considerable increase compared to the 7.1 inches of the current OPPO Find N2.
It should be noted that the original device, the OPPO Find N, was also the same 7.1-inches when opened, with a resolution of 1792 x 1920 pixels. Therefore, it is natural that the manufacturer introduces here some improvements to the main screen of the smartphone.
Up to two cameras for selfies in the next generation foldable
Now we know that this same OPPO Find N3 should have a dual camera for selfies. The new data points to a 20 MP and 32 MP camera that appears on the external screen and internal screen, respectively.
In addition, on the back we will have a new Hasselblad-signature camera module, made up of a 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor, aided by a 48 MP IMX581 sensor for the ultra-wide-angle camera. We will also have a third sensor for the camera with telephoto optics, identified so far only with the number “L07D1W22”.
In short, we will not only have the sensors of selfie renewed, like a new reinforced rear camera with some of the best image sensors on the market.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be the chip of choice for OPPO
Pay attention to previous leaks, we have a battery with a capacity of 4,800 mAh, much larger than the 4,500 mAh cell of the current model. Therefore, its autonomy will also be more noticeable in 2023.
Its processor, according to rumors, will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. However, according to the filter In Digital Chat Station we will have the next version of this chip, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2, which will be released by Qualcomm sometime during the summer of this year. For now, however, we do not have more information about this mobile device.
