Myanmar Earthquake Death Toll Rises to 3,145 Amid Nearly 70 Tragic Aftershocks

People in Myanmar are still dealing with the aftermath of a massive earthquake. The death toll is now at 3,145. Many are still missing.

The government says 4,589 people are hurt. Some areas are hard to reach. Phones and internet aren’t working everywhere. This makes it tough to get a clear picture of what’s going on.

Aid groups are working to get medical supplies and shelter to those who need it. The UN says over 17 million people have been affected by the quake and its aftershocks. More than 9 million of them are in bad shape.

There have been almost 70 aftershocks since the big quake hit on March 28. Most of them have been felt in the Mandalay area. People are scared and staying in open spaces because they’re worried about more aftershocks.
