The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is heating up with its 10th season underway. The tournament, which kicked off on April 11, features six teams competing in a total of 34 matches. As of now, six matches have been played, and the seventh match is scheduled for today, April 16, between Islamabad United and Multan Sultans.

Teams and Their Captains

The six teams participating in PSL 2025 are Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, and Quetta Gladiators. Notably, David Warner is the only foreign captain, leading Karachi Kings. He wasn’t picked by any team in the recent IPL auction.

Venues and Prize Money

The matches are being held across four stadiums in Pakistan. Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators call Gaddafi Stadium home, while Multan Sultans play at Multan Cricket Stadium. Karachi Kings are based at National Stadium Karachi, and Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi share Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium as their home ground. The Luminary Trophy up for grabs weighs 10 kilograms and is adorned with 22,850 high-luster zircon stones. The winning team will receive $500,000, while the runners-up will take home $200,000.

Fans in India can catch the PSL 2025 action live on Sony Sports Network. They can also stream the matches on the FanCode app and website. The tournament is set to conclude on May 18 with the final match.
