Sanjay Dutt, Ayush Sharma to star in Sohel Khan’s comeback comedy film after 9 years

Sohail Khan is back behind the camera after nearly a decade. His latest project is a comedy film starring Sanjay Dutt and Ayush Sharma. The film is still in pre-production, but details are starting to emerge. Sanjay Dutt will play a larger-than-life character, while Ayush Sharma will share the spotlight as a parallel lead.

The story is set in Punjab and will touch on the gangster genre. Sohail Khan has been working on the script for a while now, and he’s had several meetings with Sanjay Dutt. Both are excited about the project. The film is expected to go into production in the second half of 2025. Sohail Khan will direct and co-produce the movie, with plans to bring in another studio and a big-name producer on board.

A 23-Year Reunion

This film marks the first time Sohail Khan and Sanjay Dutt have worked together in 23 years. They last collaborated on “Mainne Dil Tujhko Diya,” which Sohail directed and Sanjay starred in. That film came out in 2002. Ayush Sharma, Sohail’s brother-in-law, has already made a name for himself in films like “Ruslaan,” “Antim,” and “Loveyatri.”

Sohail Khan has a history of making entertaining films, including “Awwal Number,” “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya,” and “Hello Brother.” His return to directing has generated buzz, especially with a star like Sanjay Dutt on board. The film’s title hasn’t been finalized yet, but expectations are high.
