Funcom’s highly anticipated survival MMO, Dune: Awakening, is hitting a snag. The PC version, available on Steam, is now delayed from May 20 to June 10.
What’s behind the delay?
The developers closed their beta testing and got tons of feedback. They saw areas that needed improvement and decided to take extra time to get things right from day one. Fans who pre-ordered the game will still get early access – just a bit later than planned, on June 5.
The delay hasn’t been officially confirmed for console versions, like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but it’s likely they’ll follow suit. We can expect an update soon. For the latest, check out the official Steam announcement.
