KUWAIT CITY: A Pakistani and an Indian national lost their lives on the spot in a tragic accident in Kuwait. The condition of the two injured is critical.
According to Kuwaiti media, a speeding vehicle lost control of its driver and collided with a lamp post on Highway 6.5 Ring Road in Kuwait.
Four Pakistanis and an Indian national were in the car. One Pakistani and one Indian national (from Kashmir) died on the spot.
Firefighters, security and medical emergency personnel rushed the three injured to the hospital.
The accident was so severe that two persons in the front seat lost their lives on the spot while three persons in the back seat were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
According to Kuwaiti media, one of the injured was sent home from the hospital today after first aid, while the condition of the other two injured is said to be critical.
According to the police, the initial cause of the accident could not be ascertained in the preliminary investigation.
This type of traffic accident can also be caused by a flat tire, speeding or other defect of the vehicle, however further investigations are underway.
