Heri Pheri 3, the third sequel to the comedy-drama film Hera Pheri, is slated to hit theaters next year. The trio of Baburao, Raju and Shyam are ready to rock again in the film. Previously there were reports that Akshay Kumar was replaced by Karthik Aryan in the film, but now Paresh Rawal has denied this.
Paresh Rawal, who got audiences laughing with the role of “Baburao” in “Hera Pheri” and then in “Hera Pheri,” will appear once in the film’s sequel. Paresh Rawal has revealed that Karthik Aryan was cast in place of Akshay Kumar in Hera Pheri 3, the actor was not cast for Raju but for a different role.
Speaking to News18, Paresh Rawal said that Karthik Aryan played a different role in Hera Pheri 3. Karthik’s character, Raju Kese, was completely different. Paresh continued, “Karthik’s role was different from Raju’s and had a different kind of energy.” The basis of his character was also different. One shouldn’t be afraid of the reaction and once people see the film they forget all the reactions.
Paresh Rawal thus confirmed that Kartik Aaryan was cast in Hera Pheri 3 last year, but the news didn’t go down well and after much deliberation, the creators decided to continue the franchise film with the original cast. Decided to include the names Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty alongside Paresh Rawal.
