Artificial intelligence emerged as a way to help people perform their tasks on a day-to-day basis. However, as time goes by, this new tool, like people, has evolved. AI has started to change our lives completely as is the case of health, safety, leisure and it will increasingly have a greater impact on other sectors, such as education, transport, or even domestic activities. It is for this reason that we ask ourselves, How can we develop artificial intelligence with an ethical approach? To what extent is AI regulated? But the first question to ask is the following: What is the relationship between artificial intelligence and ethics?

Ana Maiques, CEO of Neuroelectrics, affirms that ethics is something very important to understand the development of artificial intelligence. In Neuroelectrics they have created a device capable of stimulating and treating the brain. “With this, we can change or modify the identity”says Ana. Fernando Herrero Acebes, General Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Madrid City Council, affirms that he agrees with what Ana has said. “We want to create a new environment to develop technology in a different way, at least we are trying”, it states Ferdinand.
