Google has scheduled its annual ‘Made By Google’ event for October 6th. The search giant had already confirmed at Google I/O 2022 that would debut the Pixel 7 series and the Pixel Watch at this conference.
In addition to these two product lines, the company also revealed that it is working on a Pixel tablet, due for release in 2023.
However, we haven’t heard anything about the possible arrival of a foldable Pixel or a Pixel mini.
According to the source Digital Chat Station, Google is working on a small-screen smartphone. This would be a curious time to launch a small smartphone, as most manufacturers opt for large smartphones. Apple discontinued its ‘mini’ family of iPhones this year.
The leaker says this device has the alias ‘neila’. It features a perforated display in the center and a rear design similar to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 family phones. It is unknown if the smartphone is part of the Pixel 7 series.
