The North American technology responsible for the most popular search engine in the world is currently working on generating smart phones Google Pixel 8. This fact does not raise doubts, either before the growing wave of information leaks, or before the usual time of launches of this company.
That being said, we expect the global availability of the Pixel 8 range from October 2023. In the meantime, we will have its official presentation, or quick reveal by the company itself during its next annual event, the Google I/O 2023.
It is already the next month of May and, until then, the truth is that the information leaks are more daring like the one we are making known. At issue are virtual images, also known as renders of the protective covers for the mobile device here under consideration.
This will be the general appearance of the Google Pixel 8 smartphone
After the first leaks of information with virtual images and CAD renderings of the Pixel 8 last March, it is certain that the phones will maintain the general characteristics of the current Pixel 7. In my opinion it will be a good practice, proving to be quite different in the market and pleasing to the eye.
In other words, the Pixel 8 range will reinforce the design identity and product perception with consumers by continuing the visual look that was already introduced with the Pixel 6 and refined with the Pixel 7. However, there are slight differences in the model next generation, as it is now apparent from the images illustrating this article.
Protective covers confirm the design of Google Pixel 8
The images alluding to the protective cases, now published by the @TechGoing publication, point in the same direction as the previous leaks. The general look of the Google Pixel 8 will differ little from previous generations if this material has a real basis.
The cover shows a cutout at the top for the microphone, cutouts on the right side for the on/off button, as well as the volume selector, a position that they should assume on the smartphone.
In addition, we also have cutouts at the bottom for the USB Type-C port, speaker, main microphone, among other elements. The images also highlight the relief and elevation of the camera island on the back of the smartphone.
Smartphone unveiling could happen during Google I/O 2023
The images presented here denote at least two types of protective covers, in transparent plastic like the one we can see immediately above, in addition to the textured cover and a slight purple tone, higher up in the piece.
In any case, the considerable size of the camera island is obvious, a true bar that crosses and embraces the entire back of the possible Google Pixel 8.
Finally, we have more news and a possible reveal of these smartphones during Google I/O 2023 that will take place on May 10. There we will also have new information about the Android 14 operating system, the possible Pixel Fold and a new Pixel Tablet.
