The project is one of the largest that the platform has ever created and we dare to say that this is also the case in Latin America. The series will have 16 episodes to summarize everything that happens in 100 years in a family that, as we know, lives in a town called Macondo.

The first foray from A hundred years of loneliness The tells of Aureliano Babilonia, the character who never leaves. He sees everyone arriving, leaving and dying, but he stays. And this makes him the person who knows the most about the family and its history.

The cast consists of professional and natural actors. Why is this important for this adaptation? Because A hundred years of loneliness It has been read millions of times, some have read it more than once and Each character has a unique face in the minds of readers.
How can you put a face to a story that belongs to each of us? The idea was to find actors, most of whom we didn’t know, to create a starting point from scratch. And judging by this preview, they nailed it. They are the Buendias.
Who is behind the adaptation of One Hundred Years of Solitude?
The directors are Laura Mora and Alex García López who took over the management of this project. And they did it together with a spectacular team that included the Mexicans Eugenio Caballero and Bárbara Enríquez for the production design this ambitious film adaptation.
