According to the same source, this free offer will be supported by the transmission of ads while viewing the free content. In other words, the contents will be interrupted by a commercial space, in a similar way to what happens with so-called traditional televisions.

The leak said Chromecast users can browse channels through their own dedicated menu. Feature reserved until now for paid services.

In the case of using a smart television, transmission channels can be accessed through over-the-air programming, that is, content that requires an antenna for access.

The Protocol website adds that the channels that will be part of the free offer are unknown. But it is possible that Google will make several agreements, in the sense of immediately offering dozens of channels at once, add the same source.

Crunchyroll library included in Google TV

But there is more. The Google TV platform now supports the Crunchyroll library. This library that users can find as a streaming option, along with well-known Netflix and Hulu services.

If you are an anime fan, this is good news. All because through the Crunchyroll library you can access the anime series My Hero Academia, One Piece or even Attack of Titan.
