The followers of Spanish football who returned to Oviedo on Monday had a surprise waiting for them. The fans had flown into the city on an aircraft with the colors and shield of Barcelona, their eternal rivals.
The outside of the plane was painted in the Blaugrana colors, featuring a large shield of Barcelona and an image of one of the team’s players. Inside, the headrests were also adorned with the symbols of the Barcelona entity.
The Barcelona fans witnessed the first match of the promotion play-off live on Sunday, watching their team play against Oviedo. Although they returned home with a 1-0 loss.
This isn’t the first time the airline has made headlines with a similar stunt. On May 31, they chose the aircraft of Barcelona Women to transport Real Madrid fans to London to watch the Champions League final.
