The gaming world is mourning the loss of a beloved figure. William ‘Bill’ Roberts, the voice behind Vesemir in The Witcher series, has passed away at 80.
CD Projekt, the company behind the games, shared a heartfelt farewell message. They thanked Roberts for his guidance, advice, and care. His presence made a lasting impact on the team. Without him, the world of Kaer Morhen wouldn’t be the same.
A Legacy of Characters
Roberts’ wife announced his passing on February 14. He had a rich career as an actor, writer, voice actor, and director. One of his notable roles was Vesemir, a mentor to Geralt of Rivia. Vesemir’s character offered wisdom and support, much like a father figure.
