Japanese watch and electronics manufacturer, Casio Computer, recently announced the release of the latest shock-resistant CASIO G-SHOCK watches with Bluetooth connectivity to smartphones, making them hybrid watches.
More specifically, we have four models GA-B001 and GA-B001G with a new integrated bezel and band construction. The primacy of this range remains extreme strength, now combined with modern connectivity and comfort.
CASE G-SHOCK has new hybrid watches ready for 2022
As Casio itself states, with the GA-B001 and GA-B001G, the brand brings ingenuity to the outer structure to achieve an integrated bezel and strap construction in a shock-resistant watch.
In fact, these are the first G-SHOCK watches to feature this structure, which consists of two separate components that connect at the 9 and 3 o’clock positions. The result? Greater durability and general robustness of hybrid watches.
In addition, its molded construction follows the lines of the wrist, minimizing the space between the wrist and the watch for an improved fit. Something that will translate into greater comfort in the use of the new products in question.
CASIO wants to bring its watches to the world of virtual reality
The design of these new watches evokes a gateway to the world of virtual reality. This is the brand’s own conviction, as far as the design of new products is concerned.
The new range arrives with a geometric dial design and round index marks, these watches are a design study for the near future.
On the other hand, when it comes to color, the GA-B001 Models they have the brand’s black color G SHOCK and a new shade of red. The GA-B001G models employ gradual color printing on translucent materials for the bezel and strap.
Mobile Link brings Bluetooth connectivity to new CASIO G-SHOCK watches
It is important to note that all watches are equipped with Mobile Link Features to pair with a smartphone via Bluetooth. So when used with the dedicated CASIO WATCHES app, the watch automatically sets itself to the correct time.
In addition, the app info feature sends notifications on the watch when the app receives updates on new products and other information. We are now awaiting information on the price and availability in Portugal.
