Apple: MacBook Pro with M1 Max shows all its power in test

This week the new 14 “and 16” MacBook Pros were formally unveiled. These laptops are the big change in this range from Apple in many years, both in terms of design and what they mean in terms of performance and power management.

Days before it began to reach first users, the 16-inch MacBook Pro was already certified on the Geekbench platform for testing. And the results are impressive.

As you can see in the image below, the MacBook Pro with M1 Max scored 1749 points on a single core. But what makes its passage through Geekbench impressive is the result of 11542 points in multicore.

M1 Max achieves twice the performance of M1 in multi-core

The model in question to pass the tests has a 10-core CPU and a 32-core GPU. In comparative terms, in multi-core it shows to have twice the performance of the MacBook Pro with M1.

Considering these numbers, the M1 Max outperforms all Mac processors except the most powerful Intel Xeon models. More tests for these processors are expected in the coming days.
