Apple iPhone 14 Pro: the notch replacement will be equally controversial

There are several indications that Apple will even ditch the notch in the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The alternative goes through a double perforation on the screen, which is already a debatable solution among the technological community.

Such interruptions will continue to take up a lot of space on the iPhone 14 Pro screen, as we can see from the new images. Illustrations that now reach the public from the hand of an acquaintance filter ice universe.

The iPhone 14 Pro will have two large cutouts at the top of its screen

The image shared by the source refers to an alleged iPhone 14 Pro screen protector. This proves its very small margins and the two on-screen perforations for the front camera and Face ID sensors.

The problem is that this approach will continue to take up a lot of screen real estate on Apple’s new smartphones. Apparently, the company will limit itself to removing “dead” space around the front camera and Face ID sensors.

Supposedly, this new cutout will have the same diameter as the notch present in the iPhone 13 Pro. Since it shows that the American has not reduced the size of the sensors present in its best smartphones.

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max screens are said to be slightly larger to accommodate the new design. The former will have a 6.12-inch panel and the latter will move to 6.69-inches.

These are increases that will easily go unnoticed by the average user. We are talking about such a marginal change that nobody will feel the difference in daily use.

What will not go unnoticed is the interruption present on the screen of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max and that fans will surely not forgive. Many will wonder if it is really worth giving up the notch that everyone was used to.

It’s important to note that the base models, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max, will still have a notch. The new design philosophy will only apply to the most premium of the new range of Apple devices.
