A 16-year-old girl has been found guilty of aggravated private violence for using a firearm in Ciudad del Plata, San José.
Arrest and Charges
The teenager was arrested on Saturday after a woman reported her for aggression, threats, and gunshots.
The police had visited a house in the Penino neighborhood a few days prior.
When they arrived, two people ran away, and one hid in a nearby house.
The 16-year-old was the one who stayed behind and was subsequently arrested.
Allegations and Evidence
The woman who filed the complaint is the homeowner.
She claimed she had taken a neighbor into her care and that the man was a victim of aggression and threats.
The teenager allegedly fired several shots at the scene with a gun.
The police investigation confirmed that the 16-year-old was responsible for other gunshots in February and March 2025.
Sentence
The court ordered the teenager to be interned at Inisa for eight months.
