It will be next week that Xiaomi officially presents its new Android tablets. They will be the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro and they will appear at the same event in which the company will unveil the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Mi Band 8.
A few days after that event, Xiaomi is already beginning to confirm some details of its new Android tablets. In this case, the processors to be used in Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro.
Xiaomi Pad 6 arrive with Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
As happened in the fifth generation of Xiaomi tablets, there will be a differentiation of processors depending on the model in question. In fact, the Xiaomi Pad 6 will be the base model and will feature the Snapdragon 870.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. It should be noted that the Snapdragon 870 was part of the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro, so it remains a solid option with excellent performance in 2023.
Naturally, Xiaomi wants to give the Pad 6 Pro an edge with a more powerful processor. Although it is not the latest SoC from Qualcomm, you can be sure that Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will handle all the tasks you throw at it.
The data that Xiaomi is now advancing on social networks confirm what was already predicted for the Xiaomi Pad 6 line. Therefore, it is with a high dose of credibility that we look at the other specifications of these Android tablets.
Both models should feature an 11-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1800 x 2880 pixels. However, the image refresh rate will vary by version, with the base model running at 120Hz and the Pro running at 144Hz.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 should come with two cameras on the back. The main sensor will be 50 MP, but we are not sure of its companion yet.
Powering them will be an 8840 mAh battery with 67W fast charging. All the details will be clarified on April 18 when its official presentation takes place.
