Xiaomi has just launched two new home products that you will want to buy in Portugal! First of all, we have the desk lamp called MIJIA Smart Rechargeable Desk Lamp, with extremely competitive price and promising quality.
Next is the new MIJIA Electric Kettle 2 kettle that reinforces this particularly popular product range in our market. There are new things to know about both products, as well as the prospect of possible availability in Europe.
This is the new MIJIA smart rechargeable desk lamp
First, the price – 129 yuan, equivalent to $ 20 – in China. It is an absolutely tempting value for a device that excels in design allied to function, built in metal and plastic while maintaining Xiaomi’s minimalist industrial design.
As the name implies, the MIJIA Smart Rechargeable Desk Lamp is a rechargeable lamp. In this sense, it has an integrated battery with a capacity of 2,000 mAh, lithium-ion technology, capable of providing great autonomy.
More specifically, the Xiaomi device offers up to 120 hours, with a maximum brightness (100%) indicated illumination time of 4 hours. On the other hand, with the brightness at 10% Xiaomi claims that autonomy can reach 120 hours of operation.

Xiaomi’s new inexpensive device retains the same three modes of operation and lighting as the other lamps of the brand. That is, we have a user adjustable color temperature setting, as well as the intensity of the lighting in this new product.
The novelty lies in the possibility of defining these parameters – brightness and color temperature – through the complementary application, the MIJIA application. The user will also be able to create presets there for quick access and use of the new lamp.
It is also important to mention its technical aspects. We have a total of 12 LED modules of 0.25 W each for a maximum power of 5 W declared by the brand. Also, the color temperature ranges from 2700 to 6000K, suitable for various kinds of home use.

MIJIA smart rechargeable desk lamp is a smart product. That said, its light flashes to notify the user when someone rings the doorbell, if they have a smart doorbell from the Xiaomi ecosystem.
Also, when connected with the APP, when the MIJIA smart rechargeable desk lamp is turned off, the other smart lights in the house also turn off, if the user so wishes. In addition, it has an intelligent motion sensor that, at night, will turn on the light at minimum intensity to guide the user if they get up in the middle of the night.
Finally, we currently do not have information about its availability in Europe, but it is likely that it will also be sold in our market. So it will probably be a matter of time.
This is the new MIJIA 2 electric kettle
The new MIJIA 2 electric kettle is a low-priced, extended capacity electric kettle or electric kettle. In fact, in China this product costs 99 yuan, the equivalent of 15 dollars, a negligible value considering its daily utility.
Regarding the appearance, the new MIJIA Electric Kettle 2 is the design of the previous models, maintaining the minimalist style, white plastic finishes and strong grip. It has everything we already know from previous generations and greater capacity.
