Xiaomi 12 may launch globally simultaneously with China
If until now the Chinese manufacturer has always launched its high-end smartphones first in China, that could change in this generation. This is because the supposed Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro have already been certified by the EEC (European Economic Community).
With the model names ‘2201122G’ and ‘2201123G’, these two smartphones were collected from the list that you can see below. Indicating that its launch is imminent.
Now smartphones are expected to enter the mass production phase, as Gizmochina points out. The first to be launched will be the Xiaomi 12, even before the end of 2021. However, as in previous years, the Pro and Ultra versions are only expected in 2022.
If this global launch is confirmed at the same time as China, Xiaomi will want to pay due attention to global markets. Remember that globally Xiaomi is already the second largest smartphone manufacturer, and the goal is to reach number one.
As for the Xiaomi 12, it will be the first smartphone to be launched with the upcoming Snapdragon 898. Like its predecessor, it is expected with a curved AMOLED panel with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
According to rumors, the smartphone will have the 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GN5 as its main sensor. And having already brought the 120W load to global markets in the Black Shark 4 and Xiaomi 11T Pro, the Xiaomi 12 is expected to adopt this standard as well.
