Riyadh: The Saudi Meteorological Department has forecast “above normal temperatures in Makkah and Madinah during the Hajj.”
According to the Saudi state news agency SPA, the Meteorological Department said in a statement that “the maximum temperature in Dhi Al-Hijjah will be 43.2 degrees Celsius during the day while the minimum temperature will be 28.8 degrees Celsius.”
The National Center said that the average temperature in Madinah during Dhu al-Hijjah is likely to be half a degree higher than normal.
The National Center said that the maximum temperature in Madinah will be 43 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature is likely to be 29.8 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department said that the rains in Makkah and Madinah will be normal in the coming days, while dust storms are also expected.
