Venom 2: Sony re-released the romantic comedy movie for Christmas

The massacre of Venom 2 no longer has any limit. After a disastrous marketing campaign and a theatrical release that no one spoke about after its first week of operation, Sony and Andy Serkis, who no longer know what to do with Venom, keep doing anything. We remind you that at the very beginning of its pre-planning, Venom first of the name was thought for a movie R-Rated, before Sony considered binding the symbiote to Spiderman in the future. Result: it is a Venom watered down and ” funny “ which ensured its presence during two deeply tasteless feature films.

Andy Serkis, the filmmaker of the second opus, delivered a film that was too expeditious, fast, poorly constructed and poor in terms of script and visuals for characters as complex as are Eddie Brock and Cletus Kasady. The latter, played by Woody harrelson, was moreover massacred by the film, whether it be on its duration of presence on the screen, its design and its real dangerousness. A sympathetic film for some, an infamous insult for comic book readers, Venom: Let there Be Carnage will not have left an indelible mark on the spectators at all. Worse yet, most of the film focused on an uneasy ‘love’ relationship between Venom and Eddie Brock. Corn Sony, who seems to have a lot of self-derision, wishes to capitalize a little more on this embarrassing bromance side.

After the Venom delivering a deep discourse on humanity in a nightclub, we will have the honor of seeing a true film of love and friendship since Venom 2 has been reissued by Sony in a version ” Christmas Even more watered down.

“The film is a love story – but not the love story you might think. It’s a lot about the amazing relationship between the symbiote and the host. Every love story has its pitfalls, its ups and downs; Venom and Eddie’s relationship is absolutely causing trouble and stress, and they have a near-hate for each other. But they have to be together – they can’t live without each other. It’s camaraderie – love – the things that relationships really are. “ – Andy Serkis
