United States: Joe Biden’s seaside residence searched, no confidential document found

The American federal police carried out a search on Wednesday February 1 of Joe Biden’s seaside residence in Rehoboth (Delaware) without finding any document classified as confidential, announced the personal lawyer of the President of the United States.

After 3h30 of research, “no document bearing mention of classification was found”, Bob Bauer said in a statement. However, he adds that the investigatorss “took away certain documents and handwritten notes which seem to date back to the time of his vice-presidency, in order to review them”.

The federal police had already searched another Joe Biden home in Delaware recently, looking for confidential documents dating from the former functions of vice president and senator of the Democrat. Since November, a series of confidential documents, the exact number and content of which remain unknown to this day, have been found either in an office occupied by Joe Biden in a Washington think tank, or in the house of Wilmington.
