Zinedine Zidane is Manchester United’s object of desire. The poor results of Manchester United have caused the leaders of the English team to consider the dismissal of Solskjaer, and the former Madrid manager is the main favorite to fill the position.
At first, the Frenchman was not interested in taking charge of the Red Devils, preferring an international experience after a well-deserved rest. However, as journalist Duncan Castles explains in ‘Daily Record’, the Mancunian team “has made progress in their attempt to persuade Zidane to succeed Solskjaer.”
Furthermore, it points out that “He is attracted to the possibility of leading a team with two of his most successful footballers at Real Madrid: Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo.” The main obstacle, he adds, is his wife Veronique, who does not like the idea of living in Manchester and prefers that her husband take a longer break before going back to work.
