Twitter confirms in all Donald Trump tweets that Joe Biden won

Although the 45th president of the United States has not yet officially acknowledged his defeat in the last elections, the social network decided to remind him by posting two new notices in his tweets, notes the American website The Verge.

The words “Election officials have certified Joe Biden as the winner of the U.S. presidential election” And “This claim about election fraud is disputed” appear for a few days under the messages posted by Donald Trump. Warnings that can be found in almost all of his tweets, as the current White House tenant persists in reporting an alleged fraud and an election whose “theft” would have been orchestrated by Democrats.

This is not the first time since the announcement of the first results that Twitter has pinned Donald Trump’s account, but this time the social network is no longer happy to indicate that “several sources have analyzed the elections differently”. A hardening in tone after the Electoral College vote that officially recognized Joe Biden on December 14 as the winner of the elections. Hence the appearance of these new mentions that leave no room for doubt. The messages even direct users to what Twitter considers to be reliable information.

For its part, Facebook now also exhibits the same firmness. In a message posted by Donald Trump on December 19 and stating that the election of Joe Biden was “the lie of the year”, the social network went even further by stating: “Joe Biden is the elected president. His inauguration as 46th President of the United States will take place on January 20, 2021.
