During Mobile World Congress, one of my tours was at the Xiaomi booth. Among many of the products I found was a new Air Fryer from the Chinese manufacturer. A somewhat different product from the others we have seen from the brand in this category.
I speak of Xiaomi Air Fryer 6L which, as its name indicates, has a capacity of 6 liters so that you can cook whatever you want. The difference with the ones we already have on the market is that it cannot be controlled remotely.
With more capacity, he estimates that you can cook 8 slices of pizza, 15 chicken wings, or 9 egg tarts. The best thing is that by changing the placement of the rack, you can choose between 3 and 6 liters.
Xiaomi Air Fryer 6L has a power of up to 1500 W
With a power of 1500 W, it has a 9-blade fan for 360º air circulation. Users have a high temperature range to choose from, ranging from 40 to 200 degrees.
It cannot be controlled remotely, but it still has a smart control panel. You can use one of 6 preset modes or set the temperature and time manually. It also has an automatic reminder to let you know when it’s time to flip food.
Like other products in its class, it stops every time you remove the basket, and returns to the program as soon as you close it again. As you’d expect, the handle is heat resistant and the grate can be removed for easy cleaning.
Now listed on Xiaomi’s official global website, it’s a matter of time before this 6L Air Fryer is available for purchase and can make its way to your kitchen. For now, it is not yet known what the price of this small appliance will be.
