The police arrested a man on Tuesday afternoon teenager 15 year old who was investigated as a suspect in the murder of his father and brother in a house in Placido Ellauripolice sources said Underlined.
The arrest warrant was issued in the last few hours after a report reportedly confirmed that the two men were victims of a homicide. Underlined. They add further information that raised suspicions that he was involved and are now available to the public prosecutor.
The double murder was discovered this Monday afternoon when a relative of the victims tried to communicate with them without receiving an answer and when he found out that his father did not show up for work, he went to the house. The main door was locked and he used a grinder to break it open to gain entry.
His father and brother were dead in the house at Pedro Bazán and Leandro Gómez.
Both the 58-year-old man and his son, a 20-year-old young man, had multiple stab wounds in different parts of their bodies. The police found a knife at the crime scene.
The deceased man’s children said that the zero-kilometer motorcycle that their brother bought three weeks ago was missing from the house and that, according to them, money may also be missing.
The detained youth, if found guilty, can serve a sentence of up to 10 years in the National Institute for Adolescent Social Inclusion (Inisa).
These cases are in addition to two other murders that occurred this Monday in Montevideo and Maldonado.
