The Peruvian President Dina Boluarte denounced this Saturday a systematic attack against her after police conducted a raid on his home and another on his presidential office: “Democracy is under attack” held.
The raid on Dina Boluarte was carried out in search of luxury watches, the origin of which the president did not clarify.
In a statement, the Peruvian president described the raids against them as arbitrary, disproportionate and abusive.
Boluarte’s defense confirmed that police found watches during the operations. The president has avoided referring to the case until she testifies before prosecutors on April 5.

Peru’s president could be prosecuted once her term ends in July 2026. However, Congress could seek his removal for moral incompetence.
