It was thanks to Akash Madhwal’s bowling that Mumbai Indians defeated Lucknow Super Giants by a wide margin of 81 runs in the knockout match. However, Akash Madhwal has credited Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma for his success. Akash says that it was only because of Rohit Sharma’s trust that he was able to achieve this position.
Akash Madhwal wreaked havoc against LSG, taking five wickets for five runs. Crediting Rohit Sharma for his success, Akash said: “It is thanks to Rohit Sharma that he gains confidence and strength. Akash Madhwal has also been a net shooter for RCB. Akash Madhwal said, “Uttarakhand got recognition as a cricket team in 2018. He was a net bowler for RCB in 2019. After this, I became a net bowler for Mumbai Indians. After taking part in the practice game , I got a chance to play for Mumbai Indians.
Akash Madhwal took 5 wickets for 5 runs against LSG. Akash had also taken four wickets in the previous match. In IPL history, no bowler has been able to get 9 wickets in two matches. But Akash made history through his unique performance.
Akash’s bowling has been amazing as despite the absence of Jasprit Bumrah and Archer, Mumbai Indians managed to reach Qualifier 2. Expressing his intentions, Akash Madhwal has said that he wants Mumbai Indians to be champions.
