The series on Miguel Bosé will begin shooting in early 2022 in Spain

The filming of the biographical series on Miguel Bosé will begin in Spain in early 2022 under the production of VIS -a division of ViacomCBS International Networks- together with Shine Iberia, Elefantec Global and Legacy Rock, according to a statement released today by Viacom.

The series, which for the moment will have a six-episode season, will review Bosé’s career from the late 70s to the present day and has the collaboration of the singer himself, who is at the same time immersed in the writing of his autobiography.

It will premiere on Paramount + in the countries where this platform is present. In Spain, Viacom announced last August the launch from 2022 of a joint platform with Comcast called SkyShowtime that will include content from Sky, NBCUniversal, Universal Pictures, Peacock, Paramount +, Showtime, Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon.

The series project on Bosé’s life was unveiled last January and was originally going to be developed in collaboration with Movistar +, but finally Paramount + was the distribution partner.

"After many years of recovering memories, after others of writing, the first season of my life finally arrives", affirms Bosé in declarations collected in the communiqué. "I am convinced that it will touch many, because all of you were part of and are responsible for what I was, what I am and everything that I may become in the future.", Add.

Miguel Bosé is one of the most prominent figures of Spanish pop in recent decades. He has sold more than 30 million records, has more than 70 hits that have been number one in Europe and America and the Latin Recording Academy distinguished him in 2013 with its honorary award. "Person of the Year".

Son of the bullfighter Luis Miguel Dominguín and the Italian actress Lucía Bosé, he also has a career as an actor in which he highlights the role he played for "Far heels" (1991) by Pedro Almodóvar. In his childhood he was surrounded by artistic personalities such as Picasso, Visconti, Dalí or Ava Gardner, among others.
