The K-Pop World Festival 2023 will be held this year in Santo Domingo

The local movement is so strong that the Korean embassy in the country once again organized the “K-Pop World Festival” on Sunday, July 23 at 3:00 p.m., at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD). ).

On the day, 10 dance groups and 5 singing groups that were also selected from the online qualifier will compete.

The groups that win this preliminary will be evaluated by KBS (Korea Public Broadcasting) and those that pass the KBS evaluation will be able to participate in the final phase on Friday, October 20.

The first place winner in the dance category will receive the prize equivalent to 17,000 pesos and second place, 8,500 pesos. First place in the singing category, a prize equivalent to 17,000 pesos.

The festival becomes more and more competitive and the capacity of the Dominican groups becomes more and more excellent that the arrival to the final phase is not seen so far away, the organizers indicated in a statement sent to Listín Diario.

This event is carried out by the Korean Embassy in the Dominican Republic with the cooperation of the Hallyu Fair, which invited lovers of k-pop and Dominican Hallyu to participate.
