The popular Puerto Rican duet zion and lennox will bring his more than 20 years of music to the Dominican Republic with his concert scheduled for November 4 at the BlueMall Amphitheater, Punta Cana.
Under the production of ED Live, by the artistic entrepreneur Eduardo Durán, the duo performer of urban music classics such as “Yo voy” and “La player” have toured different countries, including the Dominican Republic where they have garnered a great fans, in addition to collaborations with different local artists that have become hits.
The extensive songbook by Félix Gerardo Ortiz and Gabriel Enrique Pizarro, given names of Zion and Lennox, respectively, includes songs like “Loco”, “Today I feel it”, “Otra vez”, “It’s not fair”, “My treasure” , “I love you for me” and “I wish you evil”, among many others.
Since its inception in 2001, to date, they have received nominations for numerous awards including Billboard Latin Music Awards, Latin American Music Awards, ASCAP, among others.
Likewise, they have maintained a style that embraces a romantic approach and with different fusions and rhythmic mixes that have given their songs a differentiating touch. They have collaborated with artists such as Akon, R. Kelly, and Ed Sheeran, as well as Daddy Yankee, Wisin & Yandel, Don Omar, De La Ghetto, J Balvin, Nicky Jam, María Becerra, and Tito El Bambino, among many others.
It should be noted that this year they premiered “Desnúdate”, a sauce produced by Sergio George and Motiff. They later teamed up with Adriel Favela to launch “Nos matamos”, an urban and regional Mexican fusion. They are currently promoting “Mamacita”.
