Director Abu Hayat Mahmut has been producing plays for a long time. All of the country’s well-known stars took part in his plays. Now this director has announced the film. The story of the film is about gangs in Dhaka.

He named the film “Once Upon a Time in Dhaka” and added two words – “Ami Kala” as a tagline.

On Tuesday evening, he organized a press conference to announce details about the film. There he said that the shooting of this thriller and suspense based film would take place in May. Mejbah Uddin Sumon’s script will feature two main characters from Dhaka and West Bengal.

Other characters are played by Tariq Anam Khan, Shahiduzzaman Salim, Salahuddin Lovelu and musician Pritam Ahmed.

At that time, the director said, “There will be Indian actresses alongside Bangladeshi actors.” I have completed the discussions, I will inform you before the shoot. Now the film market is getting bigger and bigger.

If you want to publish abroad, you need to think about casting. That’s how I plan.’

Abu Hayat Mahmud said about the first film: “I feel the urge to make films.” Previously, I have told stories in about two and a half hundred dramas. I will now use this experience.

“Once Upon a Time in Dhaka” (Ami Kala) was inspired by the real events of that time, but director Abu Hayat Mahmud said there was no portrait of a specific person in it. The film is produced by Creative Land along with other production houses.
