Tesla finally confirmed the postponement of the launch of Cybertruck. Contrary to the brand’s initial predictions, production of the futuristic pickup will not begin until 2022. Anyone who has already ordered the Cybertruck will have to wait until next year to finalize the car’s configuration.

In November 2019, Elon Musk introduced the Cybertruck, Tesla’s first electric pickup truck. With its futuristic look and guaranteed indestructible armor, the pickup quickly became a hit with fans of the brand. According to the latest news, Tesla has already registered 1.2 million orders for its Cybertruck.

Initially, Tesla hoped that Cybertruck’s first deliveries would be arranged before the end of 2021. However, Elon Musk has already ensured that most of the mass production it will not take place before 2022.

Eventually, Tesla was forced to postpone the first deliveries of your pick-up to 2022. As confirmed during the presentation of its financial results, the automaker revealed that production of the Cybertruck will start after that of the Model Y at Gigafactory in Texas.
